Robert Vander Wall – Managing Director

Robert has been successfully consulting to Australian and overseas organisations since 1989. He has been a trainer for more than twenty years; during this time he also managed a large corporate training function for three years. He set up Sage Training in Australia in 1997, and then established it in Sri Lanka in 2001; where he worked for four years from May 2003. He launched Sage in Thailand in 2010.

Robert is a powerful communicator whose engaging and motivational style can reach even the most difficult audience and secure commitment to required outcomes. Effective program design is one of the keys to successful training. Robert’s skills in this discipline are used by some of Australia & Sri Lanka’s leading organisations.

Robert is very successful at achieving sustainable results in management, supervision, and leadership skills development. He does so through formal training programs and/or one-on-one coaching. Robert works with teams to help them produce consistently high quality outputs. Quality customer service is another ethic he has helped to establish in many Australian and multi-national organisations.

He believes that personal development is a significant contributor to individual productivity and success, and has achieved excellent results in the field. He has a strong sports coaching and fitness background, and uses the experience to help people realise their potential, whether it is on the sporting field or off it; in corporate and social environments.

Robert has worked with many global organisations including; Sony, Coca Cola, Hewlett Packard, Victoria’s Secret, TNT, Woolworths, and Fujitsu General to name a few. He was the only non-academic invited to present a paper he wrote at the Global Conference on Leadership Ethics at Ashridge Business School, UK. He is currently based in Sydney.

Mihirini de Zoysa, Lead Consultant, Corporate Druids

Mihirini de Zoysa is the Lead consultant and founder of Corporate Druids (Pvt) Ltd., an organization specializing in Organizational Development (OD) and Human Resource Development (HRD).

Her formal education is in Economics (BSc), University of London and in 2009 obtained her MSc in Responsibility and Business Practices from University of Bath. She is currently reading for her doctorate (DProf) in Organizational Change at Ashridge School of Business UK.

Her professional background ranges from software programming to systems analysis to Business Process Reengineering to counselling to Organizational Development (OD) and Human Resource Development (HRD). This eclectic background has given her in-depth experience of over 14 years in organizational transformation, change management, OD and HR training and development in diverse industries such as Insurance, IT, Garments, Publishing, Printing, Telecommunications, Banking, Plantations etc.

Her work in organizational development focuses on leadership transformation, strategy development, team development and team building, developing and implementing HR systems and processes and enabling organizations and employees to align their visions and values with each other.

As a coach she focuses on Leadership and Executive coaching, Team coaching and Team development.

As a trainer, her main focus is in self development and leadership development, improving communication (inter-personal, cross-functional, horizontal and vertical) and in team building.

She is a well know facilitator, working with many business organizations and development organizations such as the UN, in facilitating these organization’s planning and review discussions, facilitating creative problem solving and visioning workshops.

Her work with her clients and client organizations is to work at the personal, team, organization and systems level to develop their capacities for self reflection and conscious action taking, to identify and develop values and ethics, and work together to develop each other and the system.

Her current work and passion is to help organizations/communities develop spaces for authentic dialogues/for conflict transformation, to harness the power of diversity (gender/cultural etc.) to find creative, peaceful, sustainable and productive ways to work and live together. She facilitates team strategic discussions and problem solving workshops.

She uses participative and cooperative actions research and action inquiry methodologies in her work. She is also widely experienced in facilitating large group interventions and in the use of tools such as world café, open space, future conferencing and visioning processes.

She is also particularly interested in working with children and with youth to create awareness and educate them to create leadership initiatives amongst them.

She has authored and published a book of poems ‘I Can Fly’. , gives more details about her work and clients.

George Neufeld PhD is President of Traverse Group.  He has over thirty years experience in industry, government and consulting.  Before going into private practice consulting, Mr. Neufeld was a Senior Principal with what is now PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Mr. Neufeld’s passion is helping executives, teams and organizations move forward and achieve significant results.  For example, he helped:

  • Obtain Cabinet approval for funding ($1 billion) to develop the Canadarm for the International Space Station
  • Merge two organizations that each had 12,000 employees

Mr Neufeld provides consulting, coaching and training services which he has embodied in Moving Forward Apps. These Apps provide a framework for organizations and teams to successfully overcome challenges and seize opportunities, and move forward.  The Apps have been applied in a wide range of situations, such as eliminate a regulatory organization’s backlog that had received mention in a Throne Speech to Parliament; and identify ways of downsizing an energy company’s $33 million research program by 25%.


He has been on the Board of a teaching hospital and been elected to lead numerous community groups.  His former clients include the now Governor General of Canada. His many acknowledgements include one from a former Prime Minister of Canada.

Traverse Group is a virtual firm that associates with the best in their respective area.  Traverse Group's teams have included FranklinCovey (a global training firm) and ParaComm Partners (a North American leader in organizational and personal transformation).  Traverse Group has partnered with Suncor (to develop a case study on corporate risk and social responsibility for presentation at a conference in Calgary) and VitalSmarts (to deliver training for resolving differences of opinion).

Lalith is a successful entrepreneur who brings both practical experience and a diverse worldview to the arena of organizational consulting, coaching, training, facilitation and corporate social responsibility.
