Most Sage Ontario/Client relationships begin when a client has identified an organisational gap that needs to be addressed or strengthened. Sage then takes a preliminary brief and analyses the relevant organisational challenges.

It is not unusual for us to ascertain that the perceived needs and the real underlying need are not necessarily one and the same. This situation typically arises when the organization’s operational pressures hinder the collection and analysis of sufficient relevant data to enable you to accurately assess the root cause.

Sage Ontario first works closely with the management team and the organisation’s stakeholders to identify the root causes and their real, underlying needs with the goal of gaining agreement on the true needs in order to design the appropriate intervention and to execute it.   The impact, the tangible results of change and transformation is important to Sage Ontario.  We will together set mutually agreed upon benchmarks and targets, which can be tracked and followed up through feedback processes we set In place.

Lalith Gunaratne, Principal Consultant is an entrepreneur and business developer who has a proven track record and first-hand experience setting up and running organizations.  In the last fifteen years he has worked with a diverse client base in manufacturing, IT, hospitality and other service industries to implement mindful leadership principles resulting in vastly improved internal synergies and relationships thereby creating a productive and profitable organization.

How we engage with you

Assesment - We will engage with you first to assess the current situation, strengths and weaknesses of your organization through discussions with your leadership team and other key members of your organization.  This will be done via interviews and focus groups. Each organization has unique issues and challenges and this process helps us tailor the interventions required to meet your specific needs.

Sage Ontario uses a variety of tools and methodologies to help you with the intervention and recovery plan. These include culture and leadership surveys, focus groups, training, games and team building activities, one-on-one and group interviews, and open- space technologies, such as the World Café and Fish Bowl exercises.   We also can recommend and use software called XpertUS, we are licensed to use to help you make effective decisions.

Crucial to both you and us are impacts, outcomes and measurable results.  Targets and benchmarks are set at the beginning of the process and mechanisms for regular follow-ups are put in place to ensure that the intervention has been effective and is producing the expected results. Sage Ontario will ensure that your feedback and change process is sustainable, moving forward and can be done effectively and independently.

Lalith is a successful entrepreneur who brings both practical experience and a diverse worldview to the arena of organizational consulting, coaching, training, facilitation and corporate social responsibility.
